Dunure Community Council assists "The Rotary Club of Ayr" with an annual beach clean-up (including parts of the local Ayrshire Coastal Path). Fisherton Primary School pupils also assist. The most recent event was held in April 2017.

 

We also intend to maintain the historic (but now disused and abandoned) Kirkbride Graveyard located on a former Drove Road near Dunduff Farm. It has many ancient gravestones (the oldest legible being from 1702) but is now sadly in a state of disrepair with overturned gravestones and weeds and brambles taking-over.
